Kutwano Champions League 2020

The Kutwano Champions League is an annual event that was created as a platform to help set a good mindset for the participants and to hold the youth accountable for their actions. The tournament is a fun way to provide opportunities to develop skills and relationships with one’s self through the sport itself and through the visiting footballer from the national team to mentor the youth through football.

The Tournament was introduced as a way for the youth to learn how to function as part of a team.

The Kutwano Champions League regional tournaments in Luola and Mushilundu were very successful! Our Youth Mentors and Chipolopolo legends Christopher Katongo and Emmanuel Mayuka emphasised the values of teamwork, hard work, dedication and respect for others which underpin the successes of the Foundations youth development programmes in Kalabo District. Thank you and congratulations to the teams, the officials, the special guests and the many spectators!
The Kutwano Championship Program aims to inspire and educate the young people of Kalabo District, and to demonstrate the importance of teamwork, discipline, respect, and competitive fair play and to demonstrate through participation how sport can positively effect peoples lives.
